Before meeting the Lord Jesus, it is normal for your priorities to be about what to eat, drink and what to wear. That is the pathway of the people of the of the world. The unsaved no matter how sincere and genuine they may be, live to secure themselves in life first then their families. All their toils is for their security but it shouldn't be so for the child of God.
Your ambition in life should not be about you. To many this is absurd but they are the teachings of Jesus Christ. Your priorities should be about God and He will take care of your security. Being responsible for your security will lead you into a whole lot of unnecessary stress and wasted years. Take note again, your security is not your responsibility it is God's!
Matthew 6:25-26 (ISVN) *“That's why I'm telling you to stop worrying about your life—what you will eat or what you will drink —or about your body—what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn't it, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds in the sky. They don't plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren't you?* Yes you are!
If we can trust God, He will move on our side. Even some people who are given to the work of God who do it underpinned by their security have missed God allowing money to lead them. Always check your priorities child of God, whether they are God motivated or your security induced. The least thing God will do for you is your security. Even wicked human parents want their children to be comfortable in life how much more your Heavenly Father. Life is more than what to wear, eat and sleep! ______________________ // * SAY BY FAITH* I have changed priorities from the world! My ambition in life is the business of my heavenly Father.
