///// SUNESIS OF CHRIST /////
Day 310| November 5, 2020 | Apostle Gideon C Boateng
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Our opening verse was spoken by the Lord Jesus in what is recorded as His first public sermon. In this verse, we see the Lord declaring the Spirit of God to be upon Him unlike the widespread ‘empty vessel prayers’ we hear all over the world. What the master said is quite unlike most Christians and Preachers today. Almost everywhere you go in the world, many Christians and preachers religiously pray God to fill them when about to minister claiming empty vessels and they think it is humility.
This is no humility. You can’t be more humble than Jesus. It is ignorance gone on rampage. A Christian can never be an empty vessel. If you were an empty vessel you were not saved because God comes to live in everyone He saves. Rom 8:9- ‘But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His’. Now if God lives in you, why do you blatantly declare you are an empty vessel?
1 John 4:4- ‘You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.’ The day you shall become conscious of the Holy Ghost in you is the day you will begin to have testimonies of things He alone can do. Be like Jesus. Boldly declare to the world that the Spirit of God is upon you. Declare you are anointed and see the anointing of the Spirit activated in your life.
// 🗣 SAY BY FAITH
The Spirit of God is upon me! He has anointed me to heal the sick cast out devils and raise the dead. I am full of God.
