Growing up in Christ sometime back, there was a prevailing mindset that the preaching of the gospel was the exclusive duty of a few called ones. Unfortunately, many still subscribe to this teaching today. But this is not of the Father. The Father's will is to have all men everywhere saved through the gospel ( 1Timothy 2:4) and has assigned all his children to the field of souls (Mark 16:15). Yet many are still not responding to the Father.
Acts 8:1, 4 NIV
... On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.
Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.
Our primary and general call as Christians is to reconcile the world back to God through the gospel everywhere we find ourselves. No one is exempted from this call (1 Cor 3:9). You may have more specified assignments from the Lord but it doesn't absolve you from being a minister of the gospel of the Lord Jesus. When we grow up in the Lord, we will realize like Apostle Paul that it is a necessity that is laid upon us (1 Cor 9:16).
Child of God, it is time to arise to fulfill the call of God of preaching the gospel to your world. There's no better day to do so than now. Do it in the school where you teach and the area where you live. Explain what Jesus did for the world to your children and siblings. Don't assume they know, get it out to them.
When you meet people for the first time, be interested to know whether they have the gospel of the Lord Jesus and are born again. If they don't have it, use every possible means to get it to them. You may be their only contact to have the gospel so don't miss use it when the opportunity comes your way.
