And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
Colossians 4:17 (KJV)
Everyone of us has a ministry from the Lord we must fulfil. Ministry simply means assignment from God. Understand that none of us is here by accident. God had plans for our coming way before we landed and it is about time we found out and fulfilled it.
'For by his act we were given existence in Christ Jesus to do those good works which God before made ready for us so that we might do them' Ephesians 2:10 (BBE). So there's a work God has made ready or prepared for everyone of us to do in Christ. As Apostle Paul told Archipus, I tell you today by the Word of God 'Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it'.
Fulfilling your ministry should be the most important thing in your life. It should be the pursuit of your life. Every other thing should revolve around your ministry and not the opposite. Understand this, we are not here to accumulate money! Money is not the reason for our earthly existence. Rather, money is a tool for accomplishing the purposes of God in our lives.
Be resolute to fulfill your ministry! Don't let anything sway you. Don't let the pressures of this world confuse you. Many things are set in your path to make you derail but be determined to fulfill your ministry at all cost!
