We love him, because he first loved us.

1 John 4:19 (KJV)

It is possible to sometimes feel down and dejected especially when trusted people dissappoint. It is even worse when we realise that we ourselves have failed or dissapointed people who trusted us. When it comes to God, some people even try to commit suicide because they feel they can't betray God. That was the case of Judas and Peter when they both denied the master, one sold him for money whiles the other swore not to have anything to do with him.

Both Peter and Judas denied the master but their understanding of who the master was preserved one and killed the other. Judas couldn't believe He had sold his master into death so He killed himself. Peter could have done a similar thing but he chose to forget everything and go back to his former trade. After His resurrection, the master sent for the the disciples and also for Peter specifically.

Mark 16:7 (KJV) 'But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you'. That is the Master's love, it goes beyond our mistakes. He loved Peter as a fisherman even before He became His disciple and He still loved him even when he betrayed him. Human love would have sidelined Peter until He comes to plead for mercy may be, but not God, His love for us is unfailing.

If Judas had known this, He wouldn't have killed himself and He would have been saved and reconciled to God. Never come close to ending your life no matter what goes wrong in your life and your walk with God. God loved you first as an unbeliever and saved you, how much more now that you are saved? Nothing can come between you and God Now that you are saved so relax and enjoy his grace.

GOD loved me when I didn't know Him and gave me His son. Now that I am his child, nothing can turn God against me. He loves me eternally.
