JESUS LOVES CHILD-Likeness not Childishness

Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever! In his earth walk, He demonstrated much love for children and He was not apologetic about it. He was even once angry when his disciples rebuked people who brought children to him to lay hands on, depicting more vividly his heart towards children. Jesus loves children and all who are child-like in attitude.
Understand that the master loves everyone but takes interest in people who are child-like. To be child-like is not the same us being childish, it means having a simple heart and desire for and towards God and always wanting to know more of God sincerely. Childlikeness also means being believing even when you are not shown any evidence to back the claims and wholly depending on the Lord. Example, a Father may promise his child a car when He himself doesn't have one and he/she will believe without asking questions. They may even go around talking about the coming car when it was just a word given them, now that's being childlike.
Unlike older people children are not skeptical, if you promise them they will trust you to deliver. As people grow, they learn not to trust too much because of the various disappointments they have faced, then some even stop trusting along the line. No matter what you tell them, they no longer believe, all they do is to ask: 'are you sure?'. If you've gotten to this place in your life, you need to go back to God and ask for him to help you so you can be free to believe and Trust freely again.
When you open up to the Lord and are free to trust Him (His word) like a child, He will open up to you and take you deeper. When you keep by him like a child He will relate with you in an intimate way like you will never know. Cast all your cares and worries upon the Lord like a child does with their parents and enjoy his ever abiding GRACE because being child-like makes you the Lord's delight.
