But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
2 Peter 3:18 (KJV)
Grace appears twice in the book of second Peter and in all the times it appears, we are told to either grow in it or multiply it. This means it is certain we can increase in grace or get better in grace. In other words, you can get better in whatever thing you are doing by grace. If you doing business by the grace of God you can increase in the grace for business. If you are prophesying by the grace of God, you can grow in the grace to prophesy. This covers everything you are doing with the inherent power of God. It is possible to get better at it!
Romans 12:6-14 shows different areas of our life that can be enhanced by Grace. Speaking of prophecy, ministering or serving others, exhortation, leadership, helping the poor and hospitality. These are a wide categorisation of areas Grace can be at work in us. Looking at them carefully, not all are purely spiritual. Some of them like ministering to the poor, leadership and hospitality seem to be more attitudinal in nature than the likes of prophecy and exhortation yet they are all enhanced by God's Grace in our lives.
On growing in grace, the word of God shows us many ways to grow in Grace. One of the ways is to remain humble at heart. James 4:6 (KJV) 'But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble'. Never get complacent in whatever you do by grace. The day you feel you have arrived is the day you cork the grace of God from flowing into your life. Always remain child-like in relating to the grace of God. Never assume you know it all when it comes to God (1Peter 5:5).
The other way to grow in grace is to increase in your knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus. Actually your knowledge of the Lord Jesus will show to you how your life is supposed to be. It will help you mirror the life of the master and that is a graced life right there. When you begin to see the life of the master in the light of the new creation you are, you will be ready to live as He lived (1John 2:6) and experience grace as He did.
The last way to grow in grace is trustful Giving . 2 Corinthians 9:7-8 (KJV) 'Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work'. In this verse, grace is tied to your giving. When you give to the course of God sacrificially in faith, trusting in God to handle your affairs, it opens the grace of God to your life and makes the impossible possible. The verse we read said God will make all grace move towards you. Nb: it is not the giving that got the grace, but the trusting that accompanied it. Meaning if you give not trusting nothing will happen and if you can trust without giving you can still pipe into God's Grace so long as that faith is alive or has other works.

I pipe into GRACE today by Faith! I receive divine assistance for any need of my life. I humble myself for God to grace me more. I grow in my knowledge of the Lord Jesus to grow more in grace and I give in faith to activate grace for my needs.
