A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones

The devil is a thief. One of the things He wishes to steal from you is your JOY. When He gets your joy, He has a hold of your life. Most of his works in the life of Christians has been about tempering with their joy. When he attacks a family member with sickness, one of his main aims for doing so is to steal the joy of the family. It is one of the main reasons he also attack your relationships and business.

Unfortunately, many of God’s children are unaware of this fact so when they are hit by bad news they lose their joy. For all the time the bad news will last, they cease to be happy and some even refuse to pray. They are not aware the reason for the attack was to kill their joy. Be in the known that most of the bad things that come to you in the flesh are attempts or means to let you lose your spiritual virtues and not the end by themselves.

When you find yourself in a difficult position understand that it is the condition of your spirit that is under attack and not your mere comfort in the natural. Your love, joy, peace, gentleness, faithfulness, etc. is what the devil is after and not your job or grades. If you can protect your heart with all diligence in that situation, it will change in no time.

Never be broken no matter the situation. Keep your shine daily. Keep your joy, love and peace no matter what you experience. The Bible says: ‘a happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing’. Take note, the joy you keep has the ability to bring everything you lose back to you.
