PEOPLE THE LORD CALLED FOOLISH 01
///// SUNESIS OF CHRIST /////
Day 81| 22 MARCH 2021 | Apostle Gideon C Boateng
"But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
To be foolish is showing a lack of good sense or judgment. Although in reality no one loves this description, we find the Lord calling many people foolish. If it is possible for the Lord to call some people foolish, then those people and the things they did are worthy of consideration so we don’t go in their path to merit their description.
The first people we are going to study who were called foolish by the Lord can be found in our opening verse. They are people who hear the sayings of the Lord but do not do it. The Lord compares them to building on the sand with no foundation. It is just a matter of time and everything built will come down crushing. Why would anybody choose to build anything that will not last? If you deliberately embark on a venture that is certain to fail, you have not acted wisely.
A life devoid of the wisdom of Jesus is going nowhere. It is just a matter of time and the wind and floods of life will drown it. Not knowing this truth is no excuse, but knowing it and not constantly seeking for the wisdom that will make your life abiding is foolishness. Your life may appear glamorous but without the wisdom of God, it is empty. Even if you gain in this life, you will eventually lose in the end when you have to transcend the earth.
This is a clarion call for a voracious desire of the word of God. Let the people of God drop all the transient human wisdom and highly uphold the sayings of the master. This is the sure way to a glorious life. It is the certain path of abiding success. It will cure us of all foolishness in the sight of God whiles we are energised over all the troubles of this world.
// 🗣SAY BY FAITH
I highly esteem the Words of Jesus in my life. The wisdom of Jesus is the pillar and foundation of my life. The winds and floods of life are not strong enough to drown my glory because of my foundation, which is the saying of the Lord.
