I don’t receive glory from men.

One thing that often keeps people from walking deeper with God and doing His will fully is the desire to be accepted and or be praised by men. But often the two do not go well together; doing the will of God in most times demand that you take your eyes off of men. So long as the acceptance of men means something to you, you are not ready to go all out with God. Without mincing words, walking with the Lord most of the time will demand that you look away from even family, you don't hate them but they have no hold on you in determining what you do.
This is what the Lord meant in Luke 14:26-27 (WEBM) “If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple. Whoever doesn’t bear his own cross, and come after me, can’t be my disciple. This sounds harsh but that is the cost to fully walk with the Lord.
This doesn't mean hate them. It means don't let them have a hold on your decisions regarding God and His will for you. Whether they accept your relationship with God or not doesn't matter. Whether people support you or not doesn't mean much. Seeking that honor or sort of approval and acceptance from men is what has kept many from first believing in the gospel even, and many more from yielding to the call of God.
Listen to Apostle Paul on this matter Galatians 1:10 (DARBY) For do I now seek to satisfy men or God? or do I seek to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, I were not Christ's bondman. I hope you get it? Drop the fear today! Despise both the praise and rejection of men and jump into a deeper walk with your Lord today!
