Day 345| December 10, 2020 | Apostle Gideon C Boateng

For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

Gal 1:10

When you received the Lord Jesus as Lord and saviour, He became the master of your Life. Although you became a child of God and no longer a servant, your Father has a business where all His children are required to be found actively serving. This is why although we are elevated to the place of Sonship we are voluntary servants working the field of our Father. Unfortunately, not so many children of God know this or could be found in the fields of their Father. Many have been snatched from serving with their Father in heaven.

The Bible is clear on things that can snatch us from the service of our Father; Apostle Paul mentioned people while the Lord cited money . Now if you are a servant of money or people you are not a true servant of your Father. You are a servant to what you yield your body and mind to majority of your time (Rom 6:16). If most of your time is rather used to Work for money with little or no attention given the Lord, you are serving money. Another way of putting it is this; anything that determines majorly the way you live is your master.

This means if because of people or onlookers you are not able to preach to someone on the street, you are still a servant of men. If the opinions of men about you still affect your contribution and activeness in the Kingdom of God you are still under men not God. You are either controlled by God, Money or Men. The one that has final authority in your life is your real master.

You can be shouting the Lord Jesus is my master but if the search for money can keep you from going to church and staying in fellowship, His Lordship over you is questionable. Every man can claim I am a child of God when they are with the Lord in prayer but if you canโ€™t do same in your office, school, community because of fear, the Lordship of Jesus over your life is questionable. Donโ€™t be afraid to let the World know you belong to Jesus.

Someone rightly said โ€œIf Jesus was not ashamed to die for you openly, never be afraid to live for him openlyโ€ Be proud you are a servant of Jesus have no apologies about it!

I am a servant of the Lord Jesus; I live for Him 24/7. He has the final word in my life. I am not ashamed living for Him and I will make Him known everywhere in the world!
